AboutThe Tail Feather Modular Panel System creates a camper when assembled on a trailer, and a stand alone pod when put together on the ground or raised platform.
The panels are fully insulated and are made out of a tough moulded polyethylene plastic. They are injected with foam to give it their excellent insulation properties. The wall panels are equipped with a D-ring on either side of the panel as well as moulded threads that are inserted during manufacture. The threads are used to mount cabinets, benches and all necessary hardware.
The panels are equipped with interlocking pins and a water tight edge strip that seals with the adjacent panel when the gird strap is tightened. Each panel weighs about 9 kg. The moulded Dome Roof is made from tough UV protected ABS plastic. It is very light and easily installed or removed in minutes. The roof is insulated with a foam head-liner, and contains low voltage lighting and generous roof vents for great ventilation.
The Tail Feather modular system isn't restricted to campers. The panels can be used to create emergency shelters, getaway cabins, or third world housing. It can even be used in your backyard as a studio or home office.
