Not only is the Tail Feather Camper lightweight and easy to tow with most four cylinder cars, it's extremely versatile. If you travel with pets (like my neighbour), the Tail Feather 8 is perfect for a weekend away with the pooch.

All Tail Feather Camper models can be easily configured to suit solo campers, couples, and even families. The quick to erect Oz Tent, can be put up in 30 seconds, and easily attaches to the rear of the camper to create shelter to cook under, and an extra 'bedroom' for the kids (or extra adults).

CAMPING AT BIMBI PARK, CAPE OTWAY

28/3/2015

Rubin and Heather have just returned from their "maiden voyage" in their 10' Tail Feather Camper. They camped at Bimbi Park which is situated at Cape Otway. They decided to book an unpowered site in order to test the efficiency of their newly fitted solar panel that you can see on the camper's roof.

According to Heather, "The Tail Feather was everything we hoped it would be".

Australia's newest Tail Feather Camper owners

Rubin and Heather Miller first saw the Tail Feather Camper at the Maroondah Festival in November of last year. They have been campers for many years, and have owned camper trailers, tents, and more recently a large caravan that they towed with a specially purchased Land Rover. They've seen and done it all, but sold their large caravan as they didn't feel safe towing such a heavy combination.

When they first laid eyes on the Tail Feather 8 at the Maroondah Festival they were immediately attracted by the fact that it was lightweight, and would be easy to tow with their Mazda CX5. They visited the recent Melbourne Caravan and Camping Super Show, but couldn't find anything there that matched their needs and their budget. That's when they decided that the Tail Feather was for them.

They visited the Micky Booth RV warehouse in Ringwood for another look, and noticed the Tail Feather 10 which they purchased after a brief 'test tow'.  They picked up their camper yesterday, and drove it home to Croydon, just ten minutes up the road. They can't wait to get on the road, and try out their Tail Feather Camper.
